The problem
PKP Tender Hearts Foundation serves Nepalese-American communities in Northern Virginia through cultural preservation, education and community events. Its events, appeals and website had each been made by different hands, so nothing looked like it came from the same place. The foundation needed one look it could use on a poster, a post, a web page or a film.
What we made: event campaigns
We designed print and Instagram pieces for the foundation's events, all in its magenta and maroon.
- Candlelight vigil. A gathering in Fairfax for families affected by the Nepal flash floods, organized with GMU NSA and L2D. We made a portrait poster and a matching Instagram graphic that pointed to the donation link.
- Blood drive. The line is "Your small favor, someone's life saver," with a lifesaver T-shirt for every donor.
- Know Your Rights. A workshop in Centreville with Public Defender Amy Jordan, covering search warrants, talking to police and children's rights.
- At a Glance. A one-page overview of the foundation and what it does.

Your small favor, someone's life saver.
What we made: a brand system
A full brand guideline covering logo use, the magenta and maroon palette from the foundation's mark (#f43adb / #490004), type, photography and how it all applies to web, print, social and film. Every poster above and every page below pulls from it.
What we made: a new website
We rebuilt the foundation's site from the ground up. It has pages for projects, events with registration, donations, volunteering, the team and community resources, plus a simple admin so staff can post events and export sign-ups themselves. It keeps every old link working, so nothing the foundation has already shared will break.

DTFest
The festival has its own event pages on the new site, with a hero and photo galleries from the celebration.

What's next
The new website moves onto the foundation's own domain soon. Next up are short social videos for events and appeals, and a short documentary about the foundation, both in the same look.
